Casa El Lunar is furnished in traditional style and is the ideal place to pass wonderful holidays. The inner courtyard and the terrace with panorama view are perfectly suited for sunbathing or simply enjoying the view on the Alhambra. Additional sleeping possibilites for a third or fourth guest can be provided in the tasteful lounges. A modern Spanish kitchen is available and has coffee, tea, salt, sugar etc. for your use. During a longer stay bed linen and towels are changed and the house is cleaned. As the holiday home is not equipped with a washing machine you can use a free washing service. The Granadian style bedroom has beds with 0,90 metres x 1,90 metres large latex mattresses. A complete baby equipment is available. It consists of baby basket, portable playard, baby buggy, high chair, bath tub, bottle warmer and chamber pot. Located in the upper, more quiet area of Sacromonte, the holiday home seduces to painting, drawing, reading a book or just to relaxing.
The owner is a freelance artist and a lecturer at the Reichenhall Academy. You can take painting lessons from her on request. On request, the owner offers etching courses in her own workshop for a minimum of 2 people.

| Area |
Granada is one of the most charming cities of Spain. Its province stretches from the Mediterranean coast up to the high tops of the Sierra Nevada (literally: snow covered mountains) and down to the historical cities and villages in the centre and in the north. Penetrated by living caves and located above the Darro river and directly opposite the Alhambra, the quarter of Sacromonte is the priviliged and sunny hill in the east of Granada. Sacromonte was the traditional "gipsy mountain".
Today many of the caves are bought by foreigners and maintained as holiday homes. Most gipsys now live in the city centre. But when the guitars and the castanets sound at night they return to their "Zambra"-flamenco-shows to their ancestral quarters. | |
