It is located on Celio hill, one of the famous seven hills of Rome and a quiet, green residential area with many restaurants, bars and shopping possibilities. A small park with a children´s playground is located directly in front of the apartment house.

The 130 square metres large holiday flat with a 100 square metres terrace offers living comfort for up to 11 adults and 2 babies. A highchair and 2 child´s beds are available for free. 2 terraces over 2 floors offer a breathtaking panorama view over the historical centre, the Colosseum and the surroundings. The holiday flat has a spacious living room with 3 sofas (1 sofa bed for 2 people), Sky international satellite TV, DVD/DIVX/CD/MPEG/MP3 player and home cinema and a dining room for 10 to 12 people. Further amenities include a bedroom with double bed, 2 bathrooms with bidet and hairdrier (one of which has a jacuzzi and one of which has a shower) and a bedroom with double bed and additional bed. The holiday flat also has a bedroom with bunk bed and 2 bedrooms with twin beds which both can be arranged with double beds. The independent kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, freezer, stove/oven, microwave with grill function, coffee machine, water kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Covering a total of 100 square metres, 2 terraces furnished with table, chairs, deckchairs, sun loungers and Mediterranean plants (lemons, rosemary, myrtle, thyme, grapes etc.) invite to relax.

The quarter of Celio, one of the seven hills, is much more quiet and greener than Trastevere. But just like Trastevere, it is becoming more and more a trendy quarter. Celio is surrounded by 3 public parks; a small park with a children´s playground is located directly in front of the apartment house. Bars, restaurants, wine bars and pizzerias are nearby. Villa Celimontana organises a music festival in the summer and further cultural events throughout the whole year. Located only a 2 minutes walk away from the Colosseum, the Forum Romanum, the Domus Aurea, the Palatin and the Circus Maximus, the holiday flat is an ideal starting point for exploring the antique Rome.
As some public transportation junctions are nearby more remote destinations can also be easily reached by metro, bus or taxi. The next metro stations are Colosseo (line B) and Vittorio Emanuele (line A). |  |
