The small village of San Giovanni is approximately 5 km away from Portoferraio. You can visit the thermal bath of San Giovanni. A tennis club, a diving centre, a sailing school, a golf course and a horse ranch are only a few kilometres away. The harbour of Porto Azzurro is approximately 15 km away. The most important harbour of Elba is located in the small, historical city of Portoferraio. Here you can visit numerous historical buildings, including the impressive fortresses of the Medici family - the Falcone Fortress, the Stella Fortress and the Linguella Tower. The historical nature harbour is worth a visit, too. Nearby you will find several beautiful white pebble beaches with dreamlike clear water. |  |
