The holiday flats on the agriturismo and a holiday home for 8 people are located at the foot of Castiglione di Garfagnana approximately 1 km away on a 143.024 square metres large property. There is a beautiful communal pool where you can relax. Enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere at the country estate. The agriturismo has a horse ranch with several horses. Beginners are also welcome.

The 140 square metres large restored holiday flat "Ai Pioppi" is located in the former farm house. The flat stretches over 2 floors and is suitable for up to 8 people. The house is at your sole disposal.
On the ground floor there is a spacious open living room with fireplace and sofa bed and a spacious dining area for 6 to 8 people. The kitchen is modernly equipped with all facilities for larger groups, too, and has a dishwasher and a microwave, among others. The holiday flat has a bedroom with double bed, two bedrooms with two single beds and two modernly furnished shower baths.
The reception is located next to the house.
Two holiday flats (60 square metres and 66 square metres) for 4 adults and 2 children each and a one room apartment for 2 adults and 1 child are available in the newly restored house "Castagni". Both holiday flats "Castagni 1" and "Castagni 2" have a large living/dining room with fitted kitchen, a sofa bed for 2 people and a TV set. All holiday flats are equipped with furniture made of solid chestnut wood. The shower baths are modernly equipped, too. Bed linen and towels are provided.
A range of well managed horses are at your disposal on the farm. The horse ranch has quiet, patient horses for children and beginners and trained saddle horses for skilful riders. You can hire a trained riding instructor who accompanies you on trips (ranging from one hour trips to several day trips) and who offers riding courses. This can be organised on demand.
The prices for guests of the horse ranch range from 12 EUR per hour, 36 EUR per half day and 60 EUR per day. Own horses can be accommodated with medical certificate and by agreement.

Located near Lucca, the Garfagnana is popular especially among hikers, nature lovers and climbers. Until recently, it was a relatively unknown area. There are several lakes here: Lake Pontecosi is 7 km away, Vagli Lake (Lago di Vagli) is 16 km away and Lake Gramolazzo (Lago di Gramolazzo) is 20 km away. You can bath in a beautiful lake near the agriturismo. You can also obserce many nature spectacles in the untouched landscape. The Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park and the Parco dell'Orecchiella Orecchiella Park occupy the largest part of the area. You will find many Medieval bridges and hermitages, chapels, churches, castles and fortresses built into the mountain face. Own handcrafted traditions have developed in the villages. The village of Castiglione di Garfagnana with its wonderful location and its enchanting atmosphere has become an important summer resort. You should also visit the incomplete church of St. Michael built in the 13th century. |  |
