The holiday home is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Portugal, 10 km off Sintra and 30 km off Lisbon. Fontanelas is a bit larger village with Portuguese atmosphere. Here you can reach everything by foot such as cafes, restaurants, bakeries, butcher´s shops, small corner shops, pharmacies, hairdressers etc. The house is family property for generations. In 2002 everything was newly built except the side walls. An approximately 120 square metres large living space developed on two floors. Of course the owners built the house in Portuguese style and adapted its architecture to the style of the idyllic village.

A 120 square metres large area offers living room, dining room with fireplace, satellite TV, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator with ice compartment, coffee machine, toaster, dishes, storeroom with vaccum cleaner, ironing board and iron, washroom with washing machine and clothes drier. The three bedrooms (one of which has a balcony directed to the village square) are furnished with french beds. The holiday home also has a full bath with bathing tub, shower, bidet, washbasin and toilet and a WC with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Located 1 km away from the Atlantic Ocean, Fontanelas is a popular resort among the locals from the city. There are famous neighbouring places such as Azenhas do mar, Praia das macas, Praia grande, Colares etc.
The area offers a lot (culture, among others) and is ideal for surfing, wind surfing, wandering, shopping etc. You can reach Fontanelas with your own car (a journey description is available on request) or by plane (airport Lisbon). The next train station is Sintra. There is a regular bus connection between Fontanelas and Sintra or other neighbouring places. The bus leaves from Fontanelas to Sintra several times a day. |  |
